When we talk about yesterday, we cannot always use "ed" endings. Sometimes we change the words. The words see, come, run, and go change.
Today I see three birds.
The birds come to my window every day.
Yesterday I saw one bird.
The bird came to my window yesterday.
I run every day.
I can go fast.
Yesterday, I ran to work.
I went very fast.
