6-6 Dialogue B

Molly: My friends and I were hungry for something good to eat, so we swam to the restaurant down the street.

Goby: There were lots and lots of tables, chairs at every one, so we all sat down together and we started to have fun.

Molly, Goby, and Gil: Our meal had just begun!

Molly: I sat in a booster seat so I could reach the table. I'll reach it on my own just as soon as I am able. Then a waiter with a mustache came up and said hello.

Waiter: Hello!

Molly: He asked me what I wanted, and I said, "I want a meal at a..."

All: Restaurant! I want to eat at a restaurant! I want to be at a restaurant! I want to go down to a restaurant! Restaurant!

Molly: The waiter pointed to the menu, which had pictures of the food, so I ordered the spaghetti.

Waiter: Good, that's very, very good!

Molly: The chefs are busy in the kitchen, mixing up our stuff. I was getting really hungry, I hoped they'd make enough!

All: I want a meal at a restaurant! I want to eat at a restaurant! I want to be at a restaurant! I want to go down to a restaurant!

All: Eat some salad, pasta, and a pizza pie! Artichokes, string beans, curly fries! Stir it up, mash it up, mix it up, heat it up, put it on the plate so you can eat it up! Yeah!

Molly: The waiter brought the food out, and it was quite delicious. We ate and laughed and talked a lot and even met some fishes. We got up and said goodbye as soon as we were through. Next time I go to a restaurant, maybe I'll go with you!

All: I want a meal at a restaurant! I want to eat at a restaurant! I want to be at a restaurant! I want to go down to a restaurant! Restaurant!
